The Jadever AGT-C is IP68 rated. The IP rating refers to the level of protection from moisture and dust. The first digit (in this case ‘6’) refers to the scale’s protection from dust, and the other digit (e.g. ‘8’) is how protected the scale is to against water and other liquids.

IP65 scales are protected against moisture when wiped down with a damp cloth. IP67 rated scales are splash proof to protect the scale against water, and can be washed down. The AGT-C is IP68, making it waterproof and capable of surviving in punishing environments.
