Marsden Non-Approved Stainless Steel Platform Scale
That Marsden Stainless Steel Platform is a highly durable pallet weighing scale, ideal for weighing goods in environments that may be damp, humid or dusty. It’s reliable, heavy duty and wipe down safe. The platform is IP68 Rated, 304 food grade stainless steel so it can be washed down thoroughly after use. It’s often used in food processing factories.
Platform scales are Marsden’s most popular industrial scales – they are strong, durable and perfect for weighing palletised goods. This is an IP68-certified platform scale so can be used in harsh environments. Goods can be loaded onto the platform via fork truck or by pallet truck if this platform scale is ordered with optional ramps.
This platform is IP68-rated. The IP rating refers to protection against water and dust. The first digit (e.g. ‘6’) refers to protection to dust and the second (e.g. ‘8’) is protection against water and other liquids.
IP65 rated scales can be wiped down with a damp cloth. IP67 rated are protected against moisture and can be washed down. IP68 is the highest level of waterproof that Marsden provides and these scales can survive in the most punishing environments.
The platform scale’s base comes in two sizes: 1.2m² or 1.5m².
The 4 x 1000kg IP68 rated loadcells and cables are safely mounted within the structure of the platform, protecting them from damage by fork truck when being moved.
This weighing platform can be paired with a wide range of indicators to create a truly bespoke and fit for purpose weighing scale.
